Chief Executive Officer Profile

Peg Feathers-Long began her career in the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in the late 1970's. From a position as secretary to the Regional Director, she moved into computer operations, and then software coding in various languages before moving into system analysis and design. Peg setup MagnaTech in 1989 as a Sub-S corporation. She now offers her accounting services to companies.

Some of the work Peg has been involved in:

Accounting for a 501c(3) charity non-profit in compliance with GAAP for restricting revenue, recognition of exchange transactions, and allocation of salary and overhead expenses among programs
Auditing, review, and oversight of 501c(7) member non profits
Assisting in budget development and cash flow forecasting
Assisted in the merger of 2 partnerships, providing financials, and restructuring use of Client and Profits accounting software
Human resource functions including placing wants ads, screening applicants, and recommending hires.
Assisted in the multimillion dollar sale of three websites through enhancement of accounting for customer support, reconciliations, and creation of financials. Created additional accounting databases for new websites, began transaction processing and financial reporting for them and the holding company.
Development of credit card revenue and expense processing for e-commerce companies from data capture to upload and reporting
Full charge bookkeeper, office manager for three multimillion dollar companies
Preparation of individual, S corporate, and Partnership tax returns using ProFx software
Purchase of computers and installation of small networks
Payroll processor using QuickBooks, Paychex, or ADP, creating and verifying quarterly and yearly tax reports
Creating and maintaining corporate and other web pages using FrontPage.
Managed the Regional Data Center, a peripheral site acting as liaison between Philadelphia & Washington
